Part 2Ignoring the men climbing out of the front and watching them, the twins made their way into the house and up the open staircase right in front of the door. Taking the steps two at a time, Mandi hooked a right and into their new room. The window seat was directly across from the door and their walk in closet that they were going to split was to their left. Deciding right away that their bunk bed was going to be right across from the closet, the girls started doing measuring of their room with their eyes, using their keen eyes to decide what would fit where. Part 1Autumn was their favorite time of year, especially the day October 1st for it was the beginning of their favorite month; however, an unfortunate turn of events dragged Mandi and Jess from their home in Dillansburg where all their friends were to the town of Salem all the way across Wisconsin on the Mississippi River. They propped their legs up on the seat in front of them to annoy their three younger siblings, Kelly, Sam, and Sean. The girls were twins and seventeen, only two years of school left yet their parents couldn’t wait for them to graduate when their father got a new job teaching at their school. IntroBlood red was the full moon’s color that starless night, a common tradition the people of Salem celebrated for many years… except for this year. A terrible death had befallen them, the loss of a very well known person that upset many; you’d think this would encourage the town’s people to do their ceremonies on all Hallows’ Eve so they might contact their beloved friend while the connection between the living and the dead was weak, but they didn’t.
